Training is critical to growth and well being of Royal Rangers.  Commanders, I challenge you to earn your Outpost Advanced Level & Medal of Excellence and/or attend a National Training Camp or Conferance to further develop your leadership skills.

Boys: Need help in earning your GMA?  The New York District Training Academy is a great place to meet new friends while learning leadership skills.  Plus, it will provide you with the skills, motivation and most importantly the spiritual renewal to achieve your goals!

National Training Camps & Conferances are opportunities for commanders to learn more about the Royal Rangers program, plus the importance of the Patrol System.  If you as a commander have not attended NRMC or RKTC and WCO, consider attending one of the camps.

NRMC Patch

National Rangers Ministry Camp provides instruction in basic outdoor skills and activities providing leaders with the skills needed to take their Rangers boys on exciting outpost activities outside their normal weekly meeting times. Instruction in effectively implementing the team/patrol method will be offered as a means to facilitate junior leadership development. Also, leaders will be challenged to connect with God and explore spiritual manhood.

Ranger Kids Training Conference gives leaders training in various techniques and methods of leadership. Leaders will also receive training specific to the development and needs of the Ranger Kids age group.
WCO Patch Artwork-color World Class Outpost Seminar is designed to expose the outpost leadership team to a successful set of practices, methods, strategies, and tools that will enable them to develop into a World Class Outpost. The greatest benefit of this event is achieved when the outpost/church leadership attends and completes this event together as a team.

Throughout the year, a number of training opportunities are available for commanders and for boys. Some of these are designed for people new to Royal Rangers, while others are beneficial to all. Whether you've been involved with Rangers for just a few months or for thirty years we encourage you to further your training as a Royal Ranger and a soldier of our Lord Jesus Christ.
