Royal Rangers - Reaching New Adventures
Expedition Rangers, together with the Youth Department, offer “Xtreme” teen outdoor activities such as: Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Snow boarding, Cross-Country Skiing, Rafting, Canoeing, Rappelling, Spelunking, Backpacking and other outdoor events.
Expedition Rangers is for 9th through the 12th grades. An important goal of Expedition Rangers is to prepare high-school boys for their life as an adult.
What is the biggest problem facing today’s youth ??.
Some of the most important decisions that a young man faces during his lifetime occur in the years following high-school- decisions regarding education, career and matrimony. Being deeply grounded in faith is the single most important factor impacting these decisions.
The challenge for us as men is to invest our time, money, and hearts to the lives of these young men, soon to be world changers.
I will close with a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes:
“Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it – but sail we must, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.”
