Summit 2014

Dates:  April 11 -12
Location:  Owego Treadway Inn

Greetings Friends!

This year’s conference will be held at the beautiful Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center in Owego, NY. We have had some great locations in the past, but this is one that you definitely want to bring your Outpost Leaders, Adventure Rangers and Expedition Rangers to. The facilities are outstanding and so is the food.

/files/2013/Tom-Sember.jpgOur guest speaker will be Rev. Tom Sember. Tom and his wonderful wife have been married for over 25 years and blessed with three daughters Jessica, Katherine, and Rebecca. Tom has served as an administrator, deacon, and elder while in the secular workplace. He is a 20 year veteran of the Buffalo Fire Dept. serving as a Lieutenant until an accident causing the loss of 75 percent of his hearing cut his career short. Following his accident, Tom went back to school and became a volunteer minister with the NY District Assemblies of God. He has pastored in New York and as a sole proprietor in the handyman service industry. Upon his disability from the Fire Service, Tom went back to school and became a volunteer minister with the NY District of the Assemblies of God. He has pastored in NY and served as the NYDAG Men’s Director for the state of NY.

Tom has a love and passion for ministry to men. His heart is to see men reach their full potential in Christ by serving their local pastor and churches, but believes that it starts with a relationship with Jesus and then man to man. His current schedule includes speaking to encourage men to be all that God has called men to be, working with men’s groups, traveling to churches and men’s events. We are happy to have him speak at our District Leaders Summit.

The goals and purpose of the District Leaders Summit remain the same – to receive excellent leadership training; to grow and fellowship with other Royal Rangers from our District; and to receive spiritual enrichment from the Word of God and through Praise and Worship. We as leaders need God’s anointing on our ministry as we reach boys for Christ. We also need training and inspiration to help us be relevant and effective to the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

We trust that you will make plans to be with us at the 2014 Leader’s Summit. For those who have never been to the Summit, please consider making this the year that you invest in your local ministry and invest in the Kingdom. For those who have attended in the past, consider personally inviting a fellow leader to attend this year. We’re looking forward to seeing you at this year’s Summit.

Yours in Christ,
Stephen Monez
